Need a celiac-savvy dietician to give talk in North Bay

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a registered dietician in the Bay Area who is very familiar

with

celiac disease and the gluten-free diet, perhaps one who has attended celiac

conferences

and is generally involved in the celiac community?

I live in Sonoma County where we are undertaking a Celiac Awareness Campaign. We

have

Grand Rounds on celiac scheduled at the hospitals, a fundraising event, and

various other

events to increase awareness in the medical community, the general public, and

the

restaurants and grocery stores.

The local group of dieticians has agreed to have a Celiac Disease Update for

their next

meeting, to be held in mid-May at Memorial Hospital in Santa . It is

informal, not for

continuing education units, and there is no honorarium offered. Our support

group will

provide gluten-free refreshments, and can also provide educational resources to

distribute, and a table-top display on celiac disease and the gluten-free diet.

Please contact me if you have a dietician to recommend (or you are one!). If

necessary, we

can reschedule it for a meeting later in the year.
