Guest guest
I banned this person from the list. Generally those posting this type of e-mail strike once and then quit the list anyway. I have changed the group settings to require new members’ posts to be moderated until we see they are posting appropriately; a necessary evil to avoid this type of abuse. Sorry this nasty one got through. This person needs to stop posting this type of garbage in this group. I got her banned from another group and now she has started with this group. We do not want to see your bare butt lady. ·
Guest guest
They may still get through anyway. The one group I moderate is set to no one being able to join unless I personally okay them, and we’ve had at least three incidents of this sort of thing – even though they should have to “go through me” before they can post. Every once in a while I’ll see a message from someone I don’t know via the group (and we are a small group of people who all know each other IRL). I always just delete the user. After a fair warning that is… You have _____ days to tell me who you are or you will be deleted… So just a heads up – just because you fixed it to be moderated, just know that there is a chance it could be hacked/bypassed. Just in case we see another post like this, we won’t be thinking “but I fixed it – this must be a real member – did she change email address?” I went through that twice before I caught the clue truck… Just an FYI… Lillyth P.S. Thank you, Pam for doing all that extra work so that we don’t have to be annoyed by annoying posts.
