Interesting GF San Francisco Dining Option

I attended a bachelorette dinner last night at

" supperclub " in SOMA. I’m happy to report I had a

great GF dining experience. “supperclub” is very

interesting, to say the least. It is a fixed price,

one menu, performance art and techno music

extravaganza. " Diva Dan " greets you at the door

and....you eat on beds.

What you eat, however is delicious food! I called

ahead to alert them that I needed to eat GF and was

told no problem. Our server (or bed attendant???)

already knew someone in our party had GF dining needs

AND informed me that the menu that night was

completely gluten free. Who knows if that is always

the case, but WOW, a knowledgeable staff. My

impression is that they would create a GF version of

something that was not. We had a pregnant gal in our

party and they made a non-fish entrée for her.

The food was quite good. Interesting mixed green

salad, yummy cream of mushroom soup, salmon and rice

pudding with fresh fruit. It is definitely a place to

go with a group of people to celebrate something and

have a lot of fun people watching.
