Guest guest
A serrated knife might do what you need. Most bread slices best after it cools. H. I remember looking at some on ebay a while back and saw a couple in the $250-$400 range. There was also a cheapo guide type of thing- sort of like a bagel slicer. Jus wondering how most people like to slice it. Thanks. Guest guest
I have a great serrated knife which works just fine, but someone mentioned using an electric carving knife. If I had one, I'd probably use it, but I'm not going to go buy one. I've decided to get that Zojirushi, so that'll probably break the bank. Speaking of bagels, anyone have a good recipe? I think I'm having bread withdrawl. Guest guest
we used to get homebaked bread from someone at christmastime every year and it was always hard to cut. i do think we had a good bread knife too, and it kinda didn't matter because we didn't use it as sandwich bread. anyway sounds like it isn't an issue... it's probably much different texture. thanks. -Naren On 7/15/07, Pratt <kimberlymp1@...> wrote: > > > > > > > I have a great serrated knife which works just fine, but someone > mentioned using an electric carving knife.
