Not only that, but we've noticed that the more

expensive the item in the grocery store, the more

likely that it's gluten free (in comparison with other

brands). Likewise, the more upscale the grocery store

the more likely they will have said items.

I am just wondering how many of you are familiar with the tax write off of the difference between gluten free products and regular products. I know people who have been doing this for over 20 years and it can help off set many additional costs incurred by DIAGNOSED celiac patients. Celiac.com may have a link to tax deductions and GF foods. I think I saw it there.

Successfully applying for the deduction isn't easy, people tell me. You must be officially diagnosed, for starters. The process involves a great deal of careful record keeping. Those with high incomes and low medical deductions may not qualify. Still, it's worth checking on.

I was not aware of this. Know of any good URLs with more information?
