Guest guest
Not only that, but we've noticed that the more expensive the item in the grocery store, the more likely that it's gluten free (in comparison with other brands). Likewise, the more upscale the grocery store the more likely they will have said items. --- melbatavia@... wrote: > In my experience with my 16 year old celiac daughter > (diagnosed @ age 12), > the more upscale the restaurant, the more likely the > chef will be able to > accomodate you with the physical separation of your > food prep from others. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Luggage? Guest guest
I am just wondering how many of you are familiar with the tax write off of the difference between gluten free products and regular products. I know people who have been doing this for over 20 years and it can help off set many additional costs incurred by DIAGNOSED celiac patients. Guest guest
Celiac.com may have a link to tax deductions and GF foods. I think I saw it there. Successfully applying for the deduction isn't easy, people tell me. You must be officially diagnosed, for starters. The process involves a great deal of careful record keeping. Those with high incomes and low medical deductions may not qualify. Still, it's worth checking on. H.
