Guest guest
The Craftsman is located at 4300 E. Lake Street (really close to the Mississippi) in Minneapolis. You can find out what they are about @ http://www.craftsmanrestaurant.com/ Good place to eat, really nice. Guest guest
I just wanted to give a short review about Craftsman. We (Husband and I) really enjoyed the simplicity of the decor. The food was wonderful. We split the spinach/beet/Hooks bleu cheese salad with vinaigrette. I had the pork chop with pork sausage and chiponelli (sp) onion/potato thing. Jeff had the bleu cheese burger that came with homemade fries with a dipping sauce that was not ketchup. That was a nice change. The portions were not monstrous but they were big. Our server did not rush us at all and so we where able to enjoy every bit of our food. I would have tried the grass feed steak but it has been along time since I have had a pork chop. We will be going back to try it – you could smell it and wanted to get one to go or have it for dessert! Oh and speaking of - the crème brulee was made with real vanilla bean.
