Guest guest Posted September 8, 2007 Report Share Posted September 8, 2007 Have a daughter that is 2nd year at UCSC (we're from Illinois) and she was just diagnosed celiac 2 days ago. It's all very new to her and to us as well. She's terribly upset because of her concerns for being able to eat out of the food services on campus and the restaurants in town. Like many college kids she loves pizza, pasta and such. Can the group provide recommendations for restaurants downtown SC with GF menus/items or where she could walk in and say " gluten-free " and be fairly assured that she what the server/cook will provide is really GF?
