Here's what I found by Googling "altoids gluten". It's on a Wrigley site. I had no idea that any Altoids contained gluten. Watch out for the new versions of Snickers, too -- some of them contain gluten.

"The following is a list of U.S. Wrigley products that are free of any wheat, oat, rye or barley gluten:

Wrigley's Spearmint® gum, Freedent® gum, Doublemint® gum, Extra® gum, Big Red® gum, Eclipse® gum, Juicy Fruit® gum, Winterfresh® gum, Orbit® gum, Orbit® White gum, Hubba Bubba® gum, Altoids® Sours, Altoids® Mints, Altoids® Gum, Lifesavers® and Cremesavers®."

What flavor Altoid contained wheat?  I don't think the plain one does. However, if one flavor contains wheat, then the non-wheat flavors probably are processed on the same equipment. Probably. Darn.

Thanks you guys. I'm sorry to belabor the point, but it's just really

confusing sometimes. I am so proud and think I'm doing well, then all

of a sudden I'm sick and can't explain it. I went to pop in an Altoid

today, and flipped it over, saw that there was wheat, and spit it out.

Who the heck needs wheat in a bleeping Altoid?!
