Does anyone know the status of the Stanford Celiac Clinic? When I

talked to Gail Pyle at the Gluten Free Cooking Swap she said that she

would be leaving the clinic... I know her schedule is really busy and

it took a lot of time for her to come to the clinic, so I wasn't

terribly surprised, just bummed. But now I'm a little confused about

if there IS a clinic anymore. I'd like to go in and have my numbers

checked and all that stuff- is there anyone there to see diagnosed

patients anymore? The clinic web page hadn't been updated the last

time I checked.

Thanks in advance..

Sorry about the double post, by the way- I'm not sure what happened

with that.

Dr. Gray is still there, but I'm pretty sure that recently Gail

Pyle has/ or is leaving (from info from Feb. 2008), so I'm wondering

if someone is still there to see diagnosed Celiacs with long term

care. Also, if the board doesn't know, if anyone has Gail Pyle's

email, it would be cool if you could send it to me privately so I

could ask her.. Thanks! :D

I

was at the celiac clinic at Stanford in May to see Dr. Gray. I think it

is still in operation.

I'm a patient there and I received a letter in the mail saying that

she was leaving in order to spend more time with her family and that

Gray would remain and take on her duties. So I think it's safe to

assume that the clinic is still in operation.

I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Gray, so it looks like

we're still covered. Yay! I will miss Gail Pyle, though. The

appointment isn't for a few months, which is unfortunate, but at least

I have one!
