Guest guest
I am excited! I'm definitely in for this meal. Just me; giving my husband an evening of not talking about intestines will be my Christmas gift. Carla, maybe we can carpool! Guest guest
Sue, I would love to come, but need a few details. Do you know what kind of pasta they are cooking and what else on the menu besides pasta is gluten-free? I have to eat low-glycemic (brown rice) pasta and need to have a significant amount of protein to go with it. Pam From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of litigationwhiz Sent: Friday, November 16, 2007 12:47 PM Subject: [ ] DiCiccio's Dinner on 12/1 - Feel Free to Invite Your Spouse/Significant Other Well, we're off to a pretty good start! To those of you who have responded that you are coming, and to those of you who haven't responded yet, please give me the number of people who will be attending the dinner. I know that some of us will want to bring our spouse or significant other out to a nice dinner. However, I also know that some of our spouses/signficant others may not want to sit through an entire dinner and listen to us talking about the latest and greatest g-f bread mix or hear our incessant oohs and aahs while eating our delicious g-f pasta and bread! So, we will graciously excuse those spouses and significant others from coming and raining on our parade!! We are going to be in gluten-free heaven! :) P.S. (DiCiccio's) and I both agreed that we should have the dinner early at 5:00 p.m. to reduce the risk of any cross- contamination before the crowds really start to come into the restaurant later in the evening. Please be assured, though, that the chefs have been very well instructed on how to cook pasta in clean water, no spoons or utensils in gluten-containing sauces, etc. Head count when responding, please! Thanks! :) Sue
Guest guest
Hi, Pam! It would be great if you could join us for dinner on December 1! You can call at (408) 377-5850 and ask her what kind of g-f pasta they use. She's usually there after around 6:00 p.m. at night. If she does not have the g-f pasta you want, I'm sure she would not mind if you brought yours and they can cook it for you in a separate pot. Since our dinner will be at 5:00 p.m., it is a little early before the throes of the dinner rush, so they should have time. I know we cannot eat their meatballs - I had a mushroom marinara sauce. If you are looking for protein, they do make a special g-f chicken dish you can ask her about. Do give a call and ask all your questions. She's really very nice and accommodating. Hope to see you there!
