Guest guest Posted September 26, 2007 Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 To all of you in the Bay Area who responded to my original call out for interest in homemade gluten-free items shipped directly to your home or even delivered (if close enough to the Coastside), I thank you for the tremendous positive feedback! My original plan was to have my business up and running by July, but was set back considerably with several spinal surgeries that I did not plan. However, I'm healed and ready to think this business plan through again. To any of you who contacted me and wanted to place orders but I failed to come through, I APOLOGIZE! I have spent many weeks at Stanford Hospital quite sick and unable to do much to reconcile. I ask you to give me another chance to win your support, or at least reconsider my offer. As a long-time Celiac myself, I am well versed in the minutia of preparing contamination-free foods that are both delicious and survive shipping. My starting menu will include sweets and perhaps some breads. I will ship orders the DAY OF cooking and make sure they get to you in a timely manner. My prices will be reasonable, especially if you buy in bulk. So I ask, is there an interest in a local Gluten-Free bakery that makes and delivers unique, fresh, contamination-free foods?
