Guest guest
my son's stool test just came back (from Great Smokies) positive for an odd form of yeast (not candida) and a staph infection (fortunately the non-resistant type). I don't have the actual report from the lab yet, just a phone call from the doctor, so I can't be more specific. Anyway, the MD has prescribed an herbal remedy that is supposed to take care of both - a berberis root extract from Nutrenergy in the form of Candibactin. Has anyone used berberine for yeast/bacterial issues? My son has been on it for a few days, and is certainly more emotionally fragile. At this point it is hard to tell if it is yeast die-off or just an overdose of the holidays. Kathy
