Guest guest
Well the garlic festival in Gilroy starts tomorrow, so here is round 2 of what I've found that we can eat! I'll be volunteering all 3 days so if you're gonna go, please stop by the garlic braiding area. The free tickets go fast, but I'm sure I can hook up some CD friends with some extras. Plus I'd love to put some faces with familiar names! I'm the one with crazy curly hair - you can't miss me. Onto the second part of the list: Fruit Fizz - fresh smoothies. we may need to ask for no protein powder, though. Lombardo's Ice cream - the wonder bar is safe safe safe. and yummy. the fruit bar is also safe. Gourmet Faire - nothing is safe. the fries are beer battered. Frozen Fantasies - choco dipped fruit. Only fruit. Nothing gluten to worry about, as of when I spoke to someone. Please ask before ordering. New Orleans Catering - could not find info Gilroy High School - only doing garlic bread so that's an obvious no. Willow Street - is once again doing their amazing corn with garlic butter. yummy. Garlic fries appear to be safe from what was said to me. Louisiana Cajun Lady - nothing fried is safe. Main Street foods - again, nothing fried. Tante's - they bread the chicken strips and calamari. Oysters are safe. Funnel Cake Express - ARGH. Need I say more? Sandi's Shaved Ice - the flavourings all appear to be gluten free, but I have to admit that I would want to check this out before purchasing. I'll report back after I do so tomorrow. Bethany Community - everything but the sweet potato pie is safe! Yippee. Artichoke Enterprises - the items that are fried aren't safe, but the steamed items absolutely are. Very aware of GF when I spoke to em. El Roble School - gf for sure. they are using corn from our neighbours farm to make their famous grilled corn. yummy T & J Morena - ice and cantaloupe are both safe. as of last week all ice creams were safe. again, i will check this out. Smoke house - Never heard back. I hope to see you all there. It's a blast! And don't forget your sunscreen! Carla Hill
