Guest guest
http://www.zadinsf.com/ I just ate at Zadin (Vietnamese) for the second time since " discovering " it earlier in the month. I know it has been mentioned a couple times in the past on this group, but for those who have joined recently, etc., I thought I'd bring it up again. The first time I ate there, I was with 5 friends. We ordered family style, and I was able to eat 5 out of 6 of the entrees chosen and all the appetizers (including fried calamari!!!). And I have to say, every item was very tasty. I am a huge fan of the Pho Ap Chao – Pan Fried Pho Noodles and Dau Hu Xao Thai – Thai Basil Tofu. It is sure nice to go somewhere that has the GF status of every menu item spelled out on the *regular* menu, and not have to feel like a special exception case when ordering! Hope you all enjoy! -laura
Guest guest
Oh cool! I wish I'd known about that this weekend. We were in SF for our anniversary. We went to Crustacean, which was also really good (and Vietnamese...maybe they're on to something!) I also had the calamari, which they did in rice flour. It was so good; really light. My gluten eating husband liked it better than regular fried calamari. They also had flourless chocolate cake with amaretto whipped cream. It was really tasty.
