That sounds awesome. I had similar experiences with the restaurants

at all of the Disney-owned hotels at Disneyland last winter -

informed the reservation hotline of my GF requirements and they just

knew what to do when I arrived at each restaurant & they went to go

get the head chef for me. It was so good (and the parks were so fun)

that we are going back again for this winter break!

Maybe Maggiano's needs to go on the map?

Ok, this was so good I just have to share. My friends

and I went to Maggiano's in Santana Row

last weekend, and everyone wanted to do family style dining, except of course

most of their

food containes gluten so I told the waiter that probably wouldn't work for me.

Well, he said it

was no problem, they would just cook the same things as gluten-free for me.

I received everything (way too much food) via my own personal chef :

salads, appetizers,

pasta, steak, fish and dessert - all cooked to order and meticulously vetted to

make sure it

didn't contain the slightest gluten contamination. The food was delicious, and

there was so

much left over I still have some for dinner tonight!

I don't think I've ever felt so taken care of in a restaurant - my friends

actually thought the

sauce for my steak was better than theirs!
