Guest guest
I've heard that Vancouver, B.C., is a good city for gluten-free eating. Does anyone have recommendations? I'm checking on-line, of course. I'll be there in mid-April. H.**************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
I was in Vancouver a few years ago, and made sure to rent a car simply so I could get to their GF bakery, Panne Rizo (which is Italian for rice bread) - http://www.pannerizo.com/ . I tried one of nearly everything, and it was all quite yummy. As I recall, it was about 20 minutes South or Southwest of the touristy area... but near to the University and some good beaches. Be careful to read the parking signs - it was tricky to figure out where we were allowed to park and nearly got towed 5 minutes after arriving! We ate out a lot, but I don't remember anything too noteworthy. I just did a quick Google to try to refresh my memory, and found several promising lists... http://www.glutenfreeforum.com/index.php?showtopic=22537 http://www.quejos.com/ http://www.urbanspoon.com/t/14/1/Vancouver/Gluten-free-friendly-restaurants.html Enjoy!! -laura
