Guest guest
I haven't eaten at Asquew (in the Marina and elsewhere). Someone raised the question of whether they prep their dishes with soy sauce. I used to eat at DragonWell in the Marina, on Chestnut, a lot. Then an employee told me that ALL their dishes were prepped with soy sauce far in advance. This was a couple of years ago; their policy may have changed. They were very willing to steam some vegetables for me, which they mixed with plain rice, making sure all cutting boards, woks, etc., were "clean" in terms of gluten. However, nothing on the printed menu was GF, although employees (with the best of intentions) had told me otherwise. It's a lovely place, but ask about soy sauce prepping before you go.
