Guest guest
Cafe Artimis, a Turkish restaurant sandwiched between Trudy's and & Nobel in the Pruneyard, gets good reviews in Yelp and was recently written-up in the Mercury. We went there today and left very pleased. In addition to the entree and cooked peppers, the plates come with bulgar and rice pilaf with wheat orzo, so you have to tell them to not serve you those. You can call ahead, and they will make plain rice for you. If you just drop in, they will cook it fresh. We called in. Talk to the manager and he/she will make sure you are taken care of. A number of the dishes are naturally GF. The rice pudding is a great dessert and is also GF. The people at the restaurant are also very nice and quite understand of needing to be GF - but do warn them (as usual).
