Dining with allergies in the East Bay

Hi all,

Thanks for your patience on my story about celiac disease in the East Bay Express. The feature story will run on October 17 in our Taste issue, which is all about food. I'm writing another accompanying piece about dining with multiple allergies/sensitivities (not just gluten) in the East Bay (Alameda or Contra Costa counties).

As this will be a more consumer-oriented story, I'd love to hear what restaurants in the East Bay you've found that are most accomodating of various allergies and sensitivies. (I've got Cafe Gratitude). What are others? I know there's been discussions in the past about difficulties with Pasta Pomodoro and PF Chang's gf menus.
