Right now I'm actually on mysecond round of antibiotics (Biaxin) in two months for a sinusinfection. I hate to take them, but I can't seem to get thisinfection to go away -- the neti pot, etc. helps, but hasn't beenenough. (I take a ton of probiotics every day year round tocounteract the antibiotics.)> > Speaking of which: How many people out there suffer from sinusproblems? I was almost constantly congested when I was in the throesof celiac disease. It's much more manageable now that I'm on a gfdiet, but, still, I have problems. My ear nose and throat doc hasrecommended sinus surgery. I do have several structural problems.> > >>> L²> > ---------------------------------> Never miss a thing. Guest guest
I have had the same, Maia. Until I stopped eating obvious gluten five years ago, suspecting that I had CD, and waiting until September of 2007 at age 48, for a diagnosis, I had clogged sinuses. I didn’t know gluten was so embedded into the food market other than bread. Since September, I’ve been very diligent about finding where it is hiding, other than bread products. My sinuses cleared. I still have circles under my eyes some days more than others. My iron level was at 5 and vitamin/mineral deficiencies high. I imagine my body is trying to build itself up, now. I can't ever remember being able to fully breathe from both nostrils at the same time. I think in hindsight my cd triggered before 5 or 6 but I wasn't diagnosed until 50. How about dark under eye circles? I have had them since childhood too. Anyone else? Maia
