The doctor told me theother infections was caused by the drip down the back of the sinusand throat... I just finished my 4th z pack in the last 6 months andmy sinus is still packed and throat still hurts... ????...I used tobe a sever hay fever allergy sufferer BUT I can say that my " hayfever " has gone away since I went gluten free since I was diagnosed acouple years ago...--- In , Linden <redchickn@...>wrote:>> I was on Tetracycline too, in my teenage years, and I have oftenwondered if they have played a part. Right now I'm actually on mysecond round of antibiotics (Biaxin) in two months for a sinusinfection. I was almost constantly congested when I was in the throesof celiac disease. It's much more manageable now that I'm on a gfdiet, but, still, I have problems. I

have had the same, Maia. Until I stopped eating obvious gluten five years ago,

suspecting that I had CD, and waiting until September of 2007 at age 48, for a

diagnosis, I had clogged sinuses. I didn’t know gluten was so embedded into

the food market other than bread. Since September, I’ve been very diligent

about finding where it is hiding, other than bread products. My sinuses

cleared. I still have circles under my eyes some days more than others. My

iron level was at 5 and vitamin/mineral deficiencies high. I imagine my body

is trying to build itself up, now.

& sinus problems

I have had sinus problems my whole life. I can't

ever remember being

able to fully breathe from both nostrils at the same time. I think in

hindsight my cd triggered before 5 or 6 but I wasn't diagnosed until

50. How about dark under eye circles? I have had them since

childhood too. Anyone else?
