My gastroenterologist tested me.  My GI is in Berkeley, right by Alta Bates.  Ping me offlist if you would like his contact info.On Oct 19, 2007, at 11:34 PM, lily3031 wrote:Following my son's autism diagnosis we delved into the research process and stumbled upon the GFCF diet. My question is what type of allergy testing would you reccomend and where should i go to get it( I live in Rockridge)? I really think that of the many things that I have read these kinds of tests could make a big difference for my son. Thanks so much in advance! -- J. Some of the best pediatric specialties are at UCSF. Get a referral from your pediatrician to UCSF to see a pediatric gastroenterlogist. Make the appointment and get the doctor's email. Then email before the apppointment with all your questions and concerns so you have a written record of having even posed the questions. This will give the physician a heads up, so he/she will be prepared when meeting with you.
