You'll enjoy the Food Section lead article from the SF Chronicle. The caption is "Odd Couples"; it features two couples with disparate food preferences or requirements. An example is a celiac/non-celiac couple, Elaine and Barry ; the article describes the accommodations they've made and gives a couple of GF recipes.

(The other couple in the article is Nicollette and Bill Niman. She's vegetarian. He's -- well, you know Niman Ranch meats.)
