Hi Everyone,

There's a new store that has just opened in San

Francisco: Golden Natural Foods. They're on Church St.

between Market and Duboce, right across from Safeway

and a few doors down from the Lutheran church. They

are open 7 days a week, I believe 9am-7pm.

I went there yesterday, and was overwhelmed with their

selection of GF products! They have a ton of frozen

stuff (breads, waffles, etc), baked goods (They carry

stuff from Crave and Mariposa, among other places),

baking mixes, cookies, and cereals. The cereals were

where I was seriously overwhelmed...who knew there

were so many brands of GF cereals!

They're a small-ish, family-owned grocery store. The

same family runs Golden Produce, a few doors down.

Despite the size of the store, I thought they probably

had more GF products than Rainbow Grocery! I'm

thinking of asking the woman who (I think) owns it if

they'd consider carrying Kinnikinnick products.

I would highly recommend that people check out this

store. Also, if you're managing a lot of allergies in

your family, you might like their selection of other

" allergy-safe " foods. They have a lot of products that

are also safe for people with soy, peanut and dairy

allergies. Plus, their butcher counter in the back has

great local, free-range meat that's much

higher-quality than stuff I've seen elsewhere.

Surprisingly, their prices are pretty reasonable, even

for GF stuff. I bought a package of GF waffles, and

I've just had my first waffle of the millennium. :-)

Best Regards,

Aidan
