Playdo (sp?) is not gluten-free. Even children who don't eat it are likely to get it into their mouths. You can find "recipes" for making a modelling substance that's similar to Playdo from gluten-free ingredients.

Stamps? I've always heard they were risky, along with envelope flaps. However, most stamps and envelopes now need not be wetted -- with tongue OR sponge.
