Guest guest Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 I just realized after my Cambria/Paso Robles post (which was my first, yay!) that I haven't officially introduced myself to the group. My name is Lucy, I'm 25 years old, born and raised in San Francisco. I moved to Alameda about 6 months ago, with my boyfriend who has fully adopted a gf diet with me. I work in downtown SF. I was diagnosed in June of 2006 and probably joined this group around that time - so I've been lurking here for awhile! I'm so thankful for this group - I've learned so much from everyone here - so thank you! I feel lucky because didn't really suffer from any serious health problems - except for being anemic since I was a teenager. I was diagnosed at Kaiser Hospital in SF. I've been so fortunate to go on many work lunches and dinners at many fabulous downtown SF restaurants -- so if you have the option to, or want to splurge one evening, here are my favorite restaurants: Slanted Door, Boulevard, Roy's, Atrium, Perbacco's, Danko's, Cosmopolitan... and that's all I can think of at the moment. I'm sure many of you are on the dinner list too - I haven't made it to any dinners yet, but I hope to at some point to meet everybody.
