Mariposa Cafe is now baking some really delicious breads!

New muffins and quick/sweet breads and sandwich loaves too.

We stopped in this morning just to get some morning muffins and found

all this!! I'm really glad I live close by and no longer have to mail

order that tapioca bread that starts with a K (best out there, let's

not discuss the stuff they sell at Berkeley Bowl!!OMG!)

Oh! You guys are killing me. Shauna the Gluten Free Girl just blogged

a gorgeous picture of Mariposa Cafe's pizza- it looked so delicious!

And now I'm hearing bread... I will be dragging DH and DM over there

soon, I have a feeling.

They are off of Telegraph Ave in Oakland - best to google map it

They are in the brick Art Deco building on the north side, the door

with the screen door. They put out a free-standing sign when they are

open.

Not all of their stuff is dairy free, but enough is that it is worth

going in and supporting them - you can get almond or rice milk in your

coffee.

I'm pretty sure that the baked goods are soy free, but frankly I have

not asked. I will.
