Hi everyone,I was recently diagnosed with celiac so am very new to all of this. I am so grateful that groups like this exist! You have all been so helpful in these first few months! I wanted to ask if there are any Stanford people in this group? Does anyone know "safe" places to eat on campus? About the TJs GF brownies, I made them for my family (none of them have CD). We all loved the brownies. No one could tell they were GF. I think I only used 1/3 cup of oil though. But anyway, we thought they were pretty tasty. Thanks!Viviana Stiavetti <steph@...> wrote: I just tried the Trader Joe's GF brownies, and what a flop! I followed the recipe exactly as it's stated on the bag, and it was so greasy that it literally boiled in the baking pan without ever baking. It called for 1/2c of oil, and yet that seemed like way too much. Bummer. :(Then I came across this recipe this morning for black bean brownies. No flour, and it uses agave nectar as a sweetener so it's not all gross processed-sugar ick. Enjoy!http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/amazing-black-bean-brownies-recipe.html ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^me: Stiavettimail: stephhyperreal (DOT) orgeats: http://www.wasabimon.comAnd I'm floating in a most peculiar wayAnd the stars look very different today
