Mark your calendar and sharpen your knives! The National Foundation

of Celiac Awareness (NFCA) invites you to the San Francisco Gluten

Free Cooking Spree on February 2, 2008. The Gluten- Free Cooking

Spree will be the perfect blend of gluten free culinary art, friendly

competition and most importantly, delicious gluten-free food! There

will also be a band, so be sure to shine your dancing shoes!

NFCA will pair doctors with top chefs in San Francisco and have them

compete to develop and cook the best gluten-free meal. Media

personalities will assist each team.

Guests who attend the event will be able to watch the teams prepare

their dishes and taste them! Local restaurants and vendors will

provide delicious food, dessert and drinks!

Profits from the event will support the NFCA national awareness

campaign. A donation will also be made to the hospital that the

winning team's doctor is affiliated with and to the local support

group will receive funding that is designated for celiac awareness

programming.

As a volunteer, we would be looking for you to help us with several

tasks including: publicizing the event in the Bay Area, helping us

recruit doctors and chefs, soliciting restaurants for food donations,

selling program advertisements, and a host of other fun projects! We

really hope that you will join us in what promises to be a one-of-a-

kind evening to provide critical awareness of gluten-free living and

Celiac Disease.

Please let me know if you are able to help out as a volunteer! ! If

you have questions in the meantime, feel free to contact me at

vanessa@... or by phone at 215-692-2639.

Cheers!
