I gave the Azna cinnamon rolls a second try. Yesterday I ate part of one at hot-day room temperature; I thought it was nasty. I tried again, heating for a minute in the microwave. This time it was edible, although far too sweet, damp, and dense for my taste. I won't be eating the remaining two rolls -- but I no longer have such intensely negative feelings about them.

I was disappointed to not find the french

brownies by "frankly natural bakers" in walnut

and cherry berry that are chewy and good.

The ones I bought frozen at WF SF came four to a box, 6 oz each, 4" across.

My guess is that the texture might be more pleasant in the smaller size.

These came 18 in a box, and if you micro'd one for a minute it would be burnt (10 seconds is plenty). So I am thinking these are not the same rolls.

Not quite the same. My Azna rolls were frozen, four to a box, six ounces each, 4"x4", and extremely dense.

Hm, I don't know if they're the same rolls. My son and I both really liked them.  These Anza ones were in a white bakery box lined with tissue.  There were probably 24 in the box, and they weren't frozen.  They tasted great heated in the microwave to soften the icing.  They are firm but soft and slightly chewy.

Everyone should definitely try them and see if they like them, but I

didn't care for them myself. They were quite dense and chewy.

Prairie Bread doesn't contain tomatoes. It has seeds on the crust -- sunflower, sesame maybe. It's my every day bread. Tomato is fantastic, very popular in our house for cheese sandwiches especially.

I bought some at the Sacramento Whole Foods a couple of months ago. I

bought the mini once because those are what they had in supply. They

were crisp which through me off because I was expecting something of the

texture of a real cinnamon roll. But they were still a treat. When I

bought them I was actually looking for some very good raisin bread that

I had purchased the month before. Because I could not find them I asked

a store employee who told me that they had discontinued it because they

were not selling enough of it (Sigh!). She lead me around the store and

showed me all the gluten free products they had. Wow! What customer

service they had. She recommended the prairie bread (has dried tomatoes

in it) which I did not buy (Has any tried it?). She also recommended the

cinnamon rolls which I did buy.

Thank You, The girl said it was tomato which kind of made me not want

it. I will have to give the prairie bread a try now that I know what it is.

The Whole Foods sundried tomato garlic bread used to be my favorite

toast when I was eating bread. It is so delicious. Try it.

I haven't had any bread products for over 6 months until I went to

Mariposa the other day for a treat. I had to try the bagels that you

all were talking about. OMG they were great! They really look like

real bagels. I had the poppy seed one toasted with cream cheese.

YUM. I feel so lucky to live so close to a gluten free bakery.

Thanks Mariposa!

Personally the sundried tomato bread was my absolute favorite of the

Whole Foods breads- the flavorings of a real artisan loaf! If it

wasn't so expensive I would buy it all the time. Actually, it's rarely

available at my Whole Foods. I thought the prarie bread was just

so-so. I don't care for the seeds in it.

Hey in case anyone is interested I was in walnut creek today and went

to the whole foods there (on newell I think) and found out they are

getting the azna line starting in about a week. She had samples of

several products I got to try and said her personal favorite are the

waffles. I tried the cinnamin buns and brownie. I thought the cb was

pretty good and I could see how it would great if warmed up a bit. I

am hoping they will be in berkeley soon too. Oh they also had the

ian's ferench bread pizza (gf/cf).
