I'm schlepping the family down to LA this weekend -- well, really

Tarzana, to visit friends. I was wondering if anyone knew of any

gluten-free gems in that area that I would be sorry I missed,

Real Food Daily is very good and vegetarian. I'd also recommend The Sensitive Baker, in Culver City for treats like cookies and cakes. They also have a fine selection of breads and bagels. I believe they also serve lunch. But they're not open Friday afternoon after 2p or Saturday. I'd also try some Vietnamese restaurants. My favorite is the Pho Cafe at 2841 Sunset, near the corner of Sunset and Silverlake.Good luck!AliceFrom: Luther <l@...>Subject: [ ] headed to LA Date: Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 8:24 AM

Hi Luther,

Check out the Sensitive Baker in Culver City, an all gluten-free

bakery (certified kosher, too!). http://www.thesensitivebaker.com/

Note their hours:

during our business hours:

Sunday 10am-2pm

Monday-Thurs 10am-6pm

Friday 10am-2pm

CLOSED SATURDAY!

I have been to LA twice on weekends and wanted to visit, but it never

worked out due to the Saturday thing combined with short hours Friday

and Sunday. (I didn't caps it, by the way-that was from their web

site.) Just thought you might want to know ahead of time for scheduling.
