Guest guest Posted March 28, 2008 Report Share Posted March 28, 2008 Yes, my daughter's doctors mentioned the correlation between the two, and at her next blood draw they will also test her for Hashimoto's. She was only diagnosed with CD a month ago (blood and biopsy), and they simply didn't get to test her for Hashimoto's yet. I do have Hashimoto's, but I am negative for CD (although no DNA results yet). There hasn't been any causality determined, just correlation between the two.
