In-and-Out & cross-contamination

We have not been eating out (because of my wife's gliadin numbers not

going down) with two exceptions, one of them In-and-Out Burgers. She

has only been eating the lettuce-wrapped burger, but a talk with her

gastroenterologist the other day brought up a question.

We know that the burgers are fried on surfaces that are NOT used for

buns, but does anybody know if the spatulas used for the burgers are

also in any contact with the wheat buns or surfaces that have/had buns

on them?
