Rice Chex is now gluten-free!

I saw this post about Rice Chex being g-f on a celiac board and

immediately called General Mills this morning to verify.

Yes, yes, yes! Starting February 1, 2008, Rice Chex is now producing

their cereal with the magic words " Gluten-Free " right on the box.

They reformulated their ingredients to remove the malt flavoring!

Just be sure to examine the ingredients on the box you buy to make

sure you are buying the newly-formulated cereal and not an old box

still on the shelf.
