They have them at the bevmo in gilroy but hadtrouble finding them because they are not in sixpacks and they're near the Belgian beers. Maybe ask them to look again. On Mar 7, 2008, at 9:21 AM, "HiDeeHoMan" <hideehoman@...> wrote:

Oh oh OH! I *so* want to try these!!

I hadn't really expected them to be at the little Willow Glen loc in SJ, but was surprised when they checked for me & said that neither of the bigger BevMos on Camden nor s Creek had Green's!!!

This was last week so hopefully it's changed.

Has anyone bought Green's in the South Bay??

Thx,

Tom

I found 'em at the Walnut Creek location in the UK beers section. Green's is a UK company, although the bottles state " Product of Belgium " . They were indeed stocked as single bottles, and each bottle is 1 pint 9 oz, so bigger than your average beer bottle.

I just noticed that it looked like I sent two of these original emails out. Apologies for the double posts. I just upgraded the OS on my computer last night so I think I may have confused it in the process... ;-)

in the Gilroy store, the pale was on the shelf under " Belgium " ...the other two were also on the shelf, but under " Germany " . Go figure! I didn't like the pale option very much. Very carbonated. I haven't tried the dark yet.

Well, twice I've had them check inventory for

the Milpitas loc, she checked the selves.

She did confirm that Walnut Crk & Gilroy are 2 of the

bigger stores.

Maybe if it's not listed in inventory as " Green's " ,

it's really there. Seems unlikely.

I figured I'd have my closest loc, Willow Glen, order

some for me.

I did pick up 2 of each in the Walnut

Creek store this weekend (made there Friday night with 6 minutes until closing J) I only was able to try

the amber and the blonde, didn’t make it to the dark yet (these beers are

definitely high up on the acl. content) I enjoyed the quest Tripel Blonde (I snuck

it into the sushi restaurant I went to and it went well with the meal.) I had

the discovery amber by itself and enjoyed it too, but like the blonde first. Thanks

again Joe for the great find!
