I found three of the Green's Beers varieties in stock at the Walnut Creek BevMo and bought one of each. They were good! I wrote up a review of each one here: http://www.sanbeiji.com/archives/859 Seriously - the bar has been raised. These were way better than anything I have tried to date. Gluten-free beer can be done. Guest guest
Oh oh OH! I *so* want to try these!! I hadn't really expected them to be at the little Willow Glen loc in SJ, but was surprised when they checked for me & said that neither of the bigger BevMos on Camden nor s Creek had Green's!!! This was last week so hopefully it's changed. Has anyone bought Green's in the South Bay?? Thx, Tom > > I found three of the Green's Beers varieties in stock at the Walnut > Creek BevMo and bought one of each. They were good! Guest guest
Definitely looking forward to the Green's. Thank's for the review. Living in s Valley and working in Los Gatos makes it a bit tought to get to Walnut Creek, but I'll request it at the Camden BevMo. Hopefully they'll stock it soon. Guest guest
Well, twice I've had them check inventory for " Green's " on their computer, and just once, by ph to the Milpitas loc, she checked the selves. She did confirm that Walnut Crk & Gilroy are 2 of the bigger stores. Maybe if it's not listed in inventory as " Green's " , it's really there. Seems unlikely. I figured I'd have my closest loc, Willow Glen, order some for me. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing. Guest guest
The Sunnyvale BevMo location has Green's, I bought one bottle last night but have yet to try it. The man who helped me find the beer did mention that they, " carry other, domestic gluten-free beers, " kudos to him for trying to educate the consumer. Guest guest
I visited the s Creek BevMo last night and didn't see it on the shelves and a wonderful employee (Fred) noticed me searching and asked if he could help. He had never heard of Greens, he told me the only gluten free beers they carry are Redbridge & Bards Tail, but he wanted to find out more about it so he went to the computer. He was very helpful and called to the Gilroy location where he has a friend and he is going to get some from them and will have it in probably by Monday. He took down my name and phone number and is going to call me when it's in, so I'll let everyone know. He seemed very excited because he said he loves Belgium beers himself, so hopefully now that he knows it exists they'll stock up! So nice to have people who care about getting us good tasting beer --- In , " HiDeeHoMan " <hideehoman@...> wrote: > > Oh oh OH!
