More on Artisan chocolates

Artisan Confection got back to me with the " definitive " GF info on

ph Schmidt, Dagora, and Scharffen Berger chocolates.

Sorry for any confusion. We (Artisan Confection Company) handles 3

brands, ph Schmidt Confections, Scharffen Berger, and Dagoba

Organic. ph Schmidt Confections (truffles and novelties) are not

considered " safe " because of possible cross contamination in

production. Dagoba products are gluten free and some Scharffen Berger

products are gluten free (the ones that are made and wrapped in our

Berkeley facility- the 9.7oz Home Baking bars, 3KG couvetures and the

2KG propacks- not the powder). Unfortunately the other Scharffen

Berger items are wrapped and packaged in outside facilities that are

not guaranteed to be gluten free.
