I, too, would *love* to find a GF friendly Ethiopian restaurant in the Berkeley/Oakland area. If you find anything, would you be willing to post it here? I think that was very accomodating -- I think it was one of the ones

on Telegraph.

Let me know how it works out. I love Ethiopian food -- I used to go

Cafe Coulluci a lot before I went GF. That's the one at Alcatraz and

Telegraph I think - across from Jack in the box. I'd been thinking

about giving it a try again without the bread but haven't mustered up

the energy to ask questions about ingredients yet.

Asanara? Do I have the name right? It's on Telegraph in the block south of 51st,

I think. Talk the owner and he will give you rice instead of the bread.
