The ingredients are pretty straight forward Active:* Gentamicin Sulfate equivalent to 3 mg (0.3%) Gentamicin base; *Preservative:* Methylparaben 0.5 mg and Propylparaben 0.1 mg; *Inactives:* White Petrolatum and Mineral Oil Commercially available gentamicin preparations contain other ingredients (e.g., parabens), which may cause allergic contact dermatitis.^a <#ra> *Cross-allergenicity.* Cross-allergenicity among aminoglycosides has been demonstrated; consider the possibility that patients who become sensitized to topical gentamicin may be sensitive to other topical and/or systemic aminoglycosides Mark
