How long has it been since you've sat in a restaurant and ordered some

blueberry pancakes? This news is just so exciting!

I just got off the phone with the manager of The Original Pancake

House in San . Her name is , and they use Bob's Red Mill g-f

pancake mix! She is well aware of the cross contact issues, too

(i.e., clean grill, spatula). We can order g-f pancakes or even

blueberry g-f pancakes! The restaurant makes their own syrup so she

is pretty certain it is g-f, but she is going to look into the

ingredients again to verify that the syrup is g-f. Their bacon is

Hormel. I believe Hormel bacon is g-f? I'm going to have to look

into that. She will then cook the bacon on a clean grill for us.

The g-f pancake mix batter is already made if you intend to enjoy some

pancakes on the weekend. However, because the pancake mix is so

expensive, the restaurant does not make any batter up during the week

unless you call ahead of time to say you are coming in for breakfast.

They are more than willing to make some batter then with advance

notice.

Since she is just starting out on this g-f road with us, she really

would also like some feedback after we eat there. She wants this to

be a place that we can all come and enjoy eating.

I'm going there on Sunday morning for breakfast. Whoohoo! I'll post

a review after eating there.
