Guest guest
When I was in college, I lived in a somewhat communal house. One of the group decided to make beer, and we all were enthusiastic supporters of his first batch. He went through the whole malting process (I think he used buckwheat) and set up his beer to brew on a shelf in the family room. A couple of days later we came home to find that 5 gallons of beer was too much for the shelf brackets to support and his efforts had to be cleaned out of the carpet. Needless to say, he has not tried making beer again since then....Moral of the story: you probably want to do this in your garage. Good luck with the beer brewing! Pam FYI: Over the weekend I went to a do-it-yourself beer making store in Concord and picked up the ingredients to make my own brew. The staff there knew all about how to make gf beer and pointed me to a variety of recipes. We'll see how it comes out . . .
