I took a quick look at the restaurant's gf menu, and noticed they have a salad with gorgonzola cheese. Is this kind of cheese ok? I thought all blues were off limits. I would love to hear otherwise!

You are absolutely welcome, Trudy. I had found out about the place on

this board ages ago from an offhand comment someone made. I do know

about the preferred customer thing- we've had trouble making it for

those special occasions, but it's great.

Mangiamo existed! I just went to their website to view the menu and I

am going to have to make a trip to Windsor very soon! Did you know

you can sign up to be a preferred customer and get free stuff on your

birthday and anniversary? Check it out!

Oh my! Blue cheese is the one thing I was really missing - -- little did I know blue cheese had gone gf! Thank you so much! I'm going to let my G.I. guy know - he had warned me away from blue!

Hooray!

The owner's wife and possibly daughter is Celiac, so they are very

careful. You can trust their GF menu and preparation/CC management. :)

I don't care for blue cheese myself, but many brands are gluten-free.

Enjoy!
