Guest guest
Hi Terry: We had 3 different doctors do blood work. You might want to check with your insurance to see what labs are covered through insurance. All three doctors sent us to the same lab that was covered by insurance for blood work. At our old Ped. office the lab was in the same building. My son doesn't have fat malabsorption...maybe someone else that has a child that does can answer what to look for. You can google " What is fat malabsorption " or " Symptoms of fat malabsorption " and probably find some answers that way also. /message/59213 Archived message about fat-malabsorption Screening studies in stool: Stool for pH Stool for reducing substances Stool for qualitative fecal fat (sudan stain) HTH, Tina > > Hello all, > > I am considering having my 2.5 yo sons blood tested to make sure that > he is not Vit E deficient and have the other panals done from Message > 53124.
