Guest guest
Season's Greetings from The Doug Flutie, Jr Foundation for Autism Each year, the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism supports many organizations who assist individuals with autism and their families. In 2007, the Foundation gave over $570,000 to 35 organizations helping those who live with the daily struggles associated with autism. This could not have been accomplished without the support of so many caring people who believe in our Foundation and chose us for their year-end charitable contribution. This year, we have received more grant proposals than ever before. Many organizations are struggling to provide services due to budget cuts, and the Foundation would like to be there for them to assist with that burden. We realize that these are very tough economic times for everybody and truly appreciate donations of any size. Please consider the Doug Flutie Jr., Foundation for Autism for your year-end charitable contribution. With your help, we can accomplish our goal of matching our grant total from last year when we announce our 2008 grant recipients on December 19th! Sincerely, Doug, Laurie, a & Dougie Flutie & The Staff at The Doug Flutie, Jr Foundation for Autism, Inc. How You Can Help! Your $25 contribution will provide a child with autism 2 sessions at an adaptive watersports summer program where they will benefit from physical therapy while learning a wonderful new activity that they can enjoy with their whole family. Your $50 contribution will support programs that offer autism screening and diagnostic services. Nationwide, there is typically more than a 6-month wait to see these specialists. Your $100 contribution will help send a young adult with autism or Asperger's Syndrome to a life skills training program that will help them become more independent.
