Guest guest
We bought a huge red bag and filled it with the plastic balls. They have this bag in the OT room at my son's school. We used to have inflatable pools, but my son kept biting the sides and making them pop... I think we bought it from South Paw Enterprises and it might be called Ball Pit Bag???? Guest guest
Thanks Bianca -great suggestion!! We can share info we learned here to help others -and we can learn info from the public too! I just took yours and Sandi's suggestion on how to build a ball pit without any (last) names or personal info and added them here http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=7341 & post=26193 & uid=115029735601#/topic.\ php?uid=115029735601 & topic=7341 (Sandi you didn't put your name at all so I didn't add your name) If either or both of you want to add to what is there -please do! (or if anyone else wants to add please do too!) Lori Rosen uploaded the photo of the inexpensive ball pit you can purchase to the photo section to this group http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=115029735601 This Facebook group will be a great way to keep information that can be made public easy to find for others...and for us. And again by sharing I'm sure we'll get many more suggestions and that's a very good thing! =====

Guest guest
I just wanted to ask if you are talking about the ball bag (meant for storing balls) on page 63 of Southpaw's current book. Item # 1379? I do not think those bags are intended to play in, are they? It might be dangerous. > > > We bought a huge red bag and filled it with the plastic balls. Guest guest
I just went online and saw that the ball bag they currently have is a small white one for $19.99. This is not the one I'm talking about. This one is for storing bags and I would not recommend letting a child go in there. The one t hat we have is a huge red one that is made of a stretchy material that has little holes in it. It is designed for kids to go in there and roll around. They use it in the sensory room at my son's school and he loves it. He put all his toys in there with him and plays in there a lot each day. Bianca In a message dated 1/17/2009 5:20:36 P.M. Guest guest
You can make one with a blowup swimming pool. You can get different shapes and sizes. I was lucky to bet the pool at target for 2.49 end of summer sale. I also found some balls at our local Goodwill store. You can also go to craigs list and type in your town and look for items and also freecycle list under your town and look for items. Rita **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. Guest guest
loves ball pits, but... here is my problem. He bites the balls. He did have one babypool that we used after summer for his ball pit. And all was going well until he discovered that if he tried REALLY hard, he could actually puncture the balls with his little sharp teeth. So... no more balls here until I can find some that he cannot bite and cannot stuff into his mouth. Any ideas for balls? Thanks!
Guest guest
Any one have suggestions for ball pits that can withstand cat's claws? We had a really nice three feet deep one all last summer and apparantly a cat tried to jump in it and his back claw punctured it. Now our balls are sitting in a bag in the attic. I would like to pull it back out but hate to invest in a $30 blow up pool that is going to get punctured.  Dana From: rdbadge@... <rdbadge@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re: Where can I get a ball pit (least expensive pla... Guest guest
The Duck Pond is $193., and it comes with blue and green balls and ducks. We were thinking about getting this and then buying dollar store noodles and cutting them into 3 " x 2 " pieces and then adding them to the pit mixture. > > From: rdbadgeaol (DOT) com <rdbadgeaol (DOT) com> > Subject: Re: [childrensapraxiane t] Re: Where can I get a ball pit (least expensive pla... > @groups. com > Date: Sunday, January 18, 2009, 10:23 AM > > You can make one with a blowup swimming pool.
