Guest guest
Tanner is 12 years old now so yesterday he said to me. " Mommy, Daddy thinks that I still believe in Santa and I want my stocking to be hidden because one of the friends said that Santa hides his stocking every year " So I said " You don't believe in Santa? " And he said " I don't know...not really " So then he said " OK tell..(and then he took his both hands and made the parenthesis for the words) " Santa Claus " ...that I want him to hide my stocking this year " Also drove for the school trip to see the latest book they had to read The Tale of Despereaux -not a movie review as the kids were all upset that the book was very different then the movie -but just an observation. It was funny how they covered how the teacher mouse and the principal mouse in the movie reacted to a student (Despereaux) that doesn't fit the mold. He's not like the other mice students in that he isn't afraid of cats, knifes, or even humans. He is a brave mouse that would rather read a book then eat it. Despereaux's parents even try getting his older brother to teach him how to be timid as the suggestion of the principal. and speaking of a school that is no way close minded- Tanner and the rest of the kids and teachers from his school were on two local news stations last night as his school was chosen as one of the two in the state of Florida to get tickets to the inauguration! http://www.cbs12.com/news/tickets_4711929___article.html/inauguration_rooney.htm\ l http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2008/dec/19/students-get-obama-tickets/ (no Tanner didn't ask any of the questions they talk about -I asked him) =====
