Proudly serving the Autism Community for 10 years! 1998-2008 Year in Review NewsletterDecember 2008 Season's Greetings! As we near the end of 2008, the staff here at the Flutie Foundation have been taking some time to reflect on how fortunate we are to have such wonderful support from all of our sponsors and donors. Even though the economy is suffering through a rough time and two of our biggest events of the year were hampered by rain, you still came out in large numbers in order to support our Foundation's mission, and for that we are very grateful. It's due to your incredible support that today we are announcing over $350,000 in grants to organizations assisting individuals with autism and their families. Please visit our website for a list of the 2008 grant recipients. We also were able to grant over $150,000 in program support for programs such as our Laurie Flutie Computer Initiative and the AccesSportAmerica Summer Water Sports Program. Below you will find our 2008 Year In Review Newsletter! Have a wonderful holiday season! The Staff of the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, Inc.
