Guest guest
Throwing NM into that title caught my attention. I apologize that I haven't read the entire message, but I have a housefull of sick kids and just hopped on for a moment. I didn't want to leave this unanswered. I moved from NM to the Denver Metro area almost a year ago. The Prompt Institute is in Santa Fe, NM. It's located right behind the Santa Fe Place Mall (formerly Villa ) just before Airport Rd. I would highly suggest taking your child there for an evaluation at the very least. Deborah is wonderful and her staff is great as well. I'm not sure who is working there now. My son saw Deborah for a while when he first started therapy there at age 4, but then he worked under another therapist with Deborah overseeing and helping plan his sessions. Both the therapists he worked with have moved elsewhere from Prompt, but I'm sure they have good therapists to fill in. Prompt will also help you find a trained therapist in Abq. I highly suggest you contact them www.promptinstitute.com/ Debbie referred us to my son's new therapist when we moved. She is a Prompt Instructor too! Do you need an OT in Abq? I only ask because my son's OT was wonderful and she moved about 18 months ago from Santa Fe to Abq. She used to work for LifeSpans in Santa Fe. I haven't kept track of her, but you could call Lifespans (co-owned by Danucia and ) and ask if they had a contact for Micci.) I really know of no one in Albuquerque, so I can't be much help. I do know that Abq public schools are supposed to be much better with special needs than Santa Fe! Miche
