Guest guest
I'm really glad you posted this - my 3 yr old has verbal apraxia, but he has a huge chew need. He puts anything and everything in his mouth to chew and as we all know, that is a no-no -- not safe! So I've been looking in a couple of sensory catalogs trying to figure out what to order. I think I've settled on one from Therapro (I think that's the name - catalog is in another room and I'm too tired to get it since got up at 4 am AGAIN!). Anyway, please let me know how the chewy you bought stands up to teeth and jaw action. I may have to get something rated for pitbulls! He's got quite the bite. Thanks! > > My 5yo has a chocolate scented ARC XT. I bought it to motivate him to practice his chews! (He got a purple one from his ST but it's not scented.) > > Oh I wish we had scratch and sniff computers! I think the grape scented ARC smells like Grape Kool-Aid which is a pleasant smell to me! I remember going to the beach with my family as a child here in Central FL and even thoughy my mom put ice in the cooler the Kool-Aid was always a little warm! (Must have been the cheapie styrofoam coolers my dad always bought that didn't work too good.) > > Isn't it interesting that even though it's only scented and it doesn't actually taste like grapes you can almost taste it? LOL! > > I bought mine at therapyshoppe.com but you can buy them many places for a few dollars. >
