Guest guest
We had ortan in the IEP for Maddy and she could not do it as she has severe motor planning issues, including apraxia. Ortan is multi sensory, so the child has to be able to trace the letters and pronounce the letter sounds etc. or they will not move them along. She is reading above grade level, but Ortan actually held her back as they could not makr the simple sounds as mastered until she could do the motor planning portions. We asked for Ortan as here is a history of dyslexia on my hubby's side. Ortan is good for kids with dyslexia. We use Edmark Reading on the computer, and she flew through 1 and 2 in about 2 weeks. sl The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential, proprietary, and/or privileged material.
