Guest guest
Sounds too simpe to be effective. But such stimulation has been peer reviewed as having some influence, there are different devices on the market. I myself am lazy, but have a plan to buy a Shakti, one among several such. Drasko Cranial electrical stimulation > CES devices may reduce EMR damage, claims Braverman MD in his > book THE EDGE EFFECT. Guest guest
I had heard lots of really great things about this sort of thing. That it helped with anxiey; sleep problems & pain. It was recommended that I use it for my own sleep problems; Post Traumatic Stress Symdrome & pain. It did nothing for any of the above problems. All it did was to make me feel VERY irritated. A very on edge; short tempered sort of feeling. So I quite using it. What has helped me more than anything, is working with a QXCI practitioner. I have been helped greatly & that's without having the finances to have had very many sessions. As someone, who sooooooooo desires to be able to obtain a SCIO & just not having the resources or being able to obtain enough documention to have one funded, it really amazes me how many time I come onto this message board & see people always looking for something else. What Dr. has given the world is something that is light years ahead of anything else that could possibly be out there. Also, from what I can gather he keeps adding more things & improving it. I'm just so very grateful to Dr. for his gift to the world.
Guest guest
Bill's QX is a mixture of modalities and he put this technology together because he was curious enough to try new things. Some of us are naturally curious, especially when our health is on the line. Not one thing works for everyone but if the QX only works for you, then I am delighted. I received an e mail from a practitioner last week about getting in touch with our angels, the unseen helpers on the unseen plane. A reminder that there are forces out there, if we only ask, who are more than happy to help us manifest our dreams. It was only a few years ago when I never even dreamed of spending $2500 on a radionics machine let alone five figures for a SCIO/QX. I was in my glory when I got my QX but it wasn't the end of the rainbow. The Qx sleep/relaxation program has not worked for me but it works great for my husband. So if it doesn't work for me, you better believe I'm gonna keep looking and keep trying. is Rotella, M.Ac. > > I had heard lots of really great things about this sort of thing. Guest guest
I recently spoke to a psychiatrist who bought a unit for her family who loves it and she gave one to a patient who is doing a lot better with anxiety. is Rotella, M.Ac. > > > > I had heard lots of really great things about this sort of thing. > That it helped with anxiey; > > sleep problems & pain. > > It was recommended that I use it for my own sleep problems; Post > Traumatic Stress > > Symdrome & pain. > > It did nothing for any of the above problems. Guest guest
Cranial Electrical Stimulation Then there are others who will try to scare you by saying there are terrible side effects. It is just not true!!! It has been FDA approved for the past 27 years as a class 2A medical device, with one of the best safety ratings. Here is what the company said about its Adverse effects: http://alpha-stim.com/ Adverse effects (Alpha-Stim 100 and Alpha-Stim SCS)Adverse effects are usually mild and self-limiting. Adverse effects seen in approximately 4,541 patients in controlled, open, uncontrolled conditions, and by physician survey and reasonably associated with the use of CES are dizziness (6 cases, 0.13%), skin irritation/electrode burns (5 cases, 0.11%), and headaches (9 cases, 0.20%). Prolonged CES treatment at higher than necessary currents may cause dizziness or nausea that can last from hours to days. Treatment immediately prior to going to sleep may cause difficulty sleeping due to increased alertness. It is recommended that CES be used at least 3 hours before going to sleep. Paradoxical reactions such as hyperexcited states, increased anxiety, and sleep disturbances may occur, but are rare. Please listen to Dr. Kirsch talk about it here http://alpha-stim.com/media/living_well.html How Alpha-Stim® Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES) Works Giordano, Ph.D. How does Alpha-Stim cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) work? The exact mechanism by which Alpha-Stim produces effects is not fully known. However, based on previous and ongoing studies, it appears that the Alpha-Stim microcurrent waveform activates particular groups of nervecells that are located at the brainstem, a site at the base of the brain that sits atop of the spinal cord. These groups of nerve cells produce the chemicals serotonin and acetylcholine, which can affect the chemical activity of nerve cells that are both nearby and at more distant sites in the nervous system. In fact, these cells are situated to control the activity of nerve pathways that run up into the brain and that course down into the spinal cord. By changing the electrical and chemical activity of certain nerve cells in the brainstem, Alpha-Stim appears to amplify activity in some neurological systems, and diminish activity in others. This neurological ‘fine tuning’ is called modulation, and occurs either as a result of, or together with the production of a certain type of electrical activity pattern in the brain known as an alpha state which can be measured on brain wave recordings (called electroencephalograms, abbreviated EEG). Such alpha rhythms are accompanied by feelings of calmness, relaxation and increased mental focus. The neurological mechanisms that are occurring during the alpha state appear to decrease stress-effects, reduce agitation and stabilize mood, and control both sensations and perceptions of particular types of pain. These effects can be produced after a single treatment, and repeated treatments have been shown to increase the relative strength and duration of these effects. In some cases, effects have been stable and permanent, suggesting that the electrical and chemical changes evoked by Alpha-Stim have led to a durable re-tuning back to normal function. Electromedical Products International, Inc. is dedicated to using exciting new research technology and advanced, innovative methods to study the exact mechanisms through which Alpha-Stim can be beneficial to patients with pain, anxiety, depression and sleep disorders.
